Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My children love coming to school for the safe and secure place that it provides. Many of my students enjoy learning, even as they struggle with it. Like most students, they try their best and work hard to reach their goals.
Most of my students have learning disabilities, and I have to try extra hard to find ways to engage them in learning.
They are initially very resistant to learning and I try to find different ways to engage them in their classroom learning.
My Project
These materials, a webcam and accessories, will help my students use Skype to communicate with other students in other states or other countries! My students need to expand their country as well as world view and this technology will provide them with the tools to take virtual field trips, communicate with others and learn about other cultures.
My students need high interest computer projects to keep them interested in learning, and this project applies in all those areas.
My students are excited to learn about geography and this technology will excite them and keep them motivated to learn. Who wouldn't love this classroom project?
