Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is full of 28 energetic preschoolers who work hard and play hard everyday! The children I teach are ages three to four, and many are bilingual. I have an integrated classroom of typical and special needs students, in a low income city. My students are 3 and 4 years old, and this is their first experience in a public school.
My Project
These resources will make a tremendous difference in learning remotely for my students! Now that we have started remote learning, I realize what my students need to learn online. I have picked out learning bags for each student, filled with literacy activities and writing materials. They will be provided by mail, a project kit so children can participate in the remote activities by writing, drawing, and completing weekly projects together! I also chose a fun set of books to read to my students, they love listening to stories each day in class!
