My Students

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and all have their own unique strengths and challenges. Over the last couple years my students have been highly impacted by covid, missing the last half of their first grade year and some most of second grade. This leads to a large gap in learning needs with students so divided in their abilities.

My Project

These resources will allow my students to better work in an environment that fits their needs. The wobble stools and other seating allow them to move around the room and interact with one another which my students need after Covid separated them for so long. It will allow them to work in partnerships and learn the social skill they lack from missing school for so long due to Covid

The math games will allow them to access the grade level curriculum and learn their math facts for multiplication and division in a fun and interactive way.

My students need fun and interactive games because they were so hands off during online learning.

The phonics resources will allow students behind due to Covid to catch up to their peers. I have students who are reading on a Kindergarten or 1st grade level and need the support. These phonics materials will allow me to do the interventions needs to help them catch up.
