My students have mild to moderate disabilities and come from low-income households; therefore, online learning can be challenging for my students. Reading books online and finding interactive online activities is one way I reach my students to continue building on their literacy skills.
My students love visuals and are most engaged in multi-sensory activities. However, multi-sensory activities can be challenging when teaching online. By using SnapWords, I can implement multiple online learning activities.
SnapWords provide a fun and rich literacy experience through visuals for my students.
We can act out the words by copying the movements or actions listed on the cards. In addition, these cards have fun mini-stories to remember the words. By using flashcards, it makes it easy to go back and forth between words and have students digitally identify the correct word.
