My students need art supplies to show their creativeness when using several different colors. We are needing a chart holder for a visual display when recording students ideas or key ideas from daily lessons.
First-grade students are learning how to be more independent in the classroom. They are active, curious, eager to learn and becoming better readers. They need many different kinds of materials to use during the day such as pencils, markers, glue, books, paints, organized materials, and options of seating that will help them stay focused on the lessons.
My students are brilliant, curious, and loving first graders.
I am in need of the everyday items as well as some special items for my classroom.
Being a first year teacher these materials will give first grade students the opportunity to explore, create, share, and grow within the classroom. First grade students are learning quickly and grow in their skills daily. Having different materials allows them to choose what will help them be most successful.
I am excited to meet my class this year and hope to have the supplies the students need to be successful in first grade.
My Project
My students are in need of art supplies and other classroom supplies. These supplies will help students show how creative they can be. Students create art using the lessons we teach in class. They take what they learn and show me their understanding in their artwork along with a short written explanation of their art. In a Title I school resources are used directly for curriculum and little funding goes for art materials.
I would love to bring more art into the classroom for my students.
Allowing students to show their creativeness helps them in all areas of learning. Bringing in other art materials such as play-dough or clay will open up another wonderful exploration of the arts.
It would be wonderful to have the materials for all students to use during the school year.
There is no telling how far into our imagination the materials will take us.
