My Students
Our PreK 4 year old program is an intervention program for children who need support to jump start their school career. Many students come from single parent families, military backgrounds, foster care, and non-English speaking backgrounds.
100% of our PreK students receive free breakfast and lunch.
The majority of our students are in economically disadvantaged households.
Despite the apparent setbacks, our school is committed to providing our students with a solid academic foundation, rich learning experiences, and a life-long love of learning. We want our kiddos to have endless possibilities!
My Project
During this in house field trip, students will be interacting with baby farm animals. They will have the opportunity to hold the animals and feed them. Students will also have an opportunity to ride a pony during this event.
Interacting with the farm animals will provide hands-on learning and show kids animal life up close and personal.
This in house field trip will provide our young students with a valuable learning experience away from the normal school routine.
This field trip will also encourage students to try new things and pursue previously unconsidered ideas. By seeing real-life application of the lessons they receive in school, the children will be more likely to understand, appreciate, and make connections to what they are learning.
