Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are entitled to the same equipment that students in higher-income schools have at home. Most of my students do not have access to a technological tool like a MacBook. The majority of the technology they can use is provided by the school and is simple and lacking in features.

This laptop would provide students with access to equipment that will assist them in developing 21st-century skills such as digital literacy and technology skills.

Creating iMovies, presentations, videos, and special projects are all part of this project. A MacBook would be extremely useful in creating interactive and high-end reading presentations. We use reading videos and sight word videos to help students improve their reading skills. With great equipment like a MacBook, I can create a variety of personalized videos with fun effects that will capture students' attention and meet their specific reading needs. My students would benefit from high-quality 21st-century learning. Your contribution will provide deserving low-income students with access to equipment and applications that most do not have.
