Off to New Adventures in Special Education!

My students need stools and adequate storage for all the classroom materials we have. In addition, I need a fun way to engage them in the learning process with buzzers!

My Students

I service students with disabilities in a Kindergarten through second grade resource classroom. I have students with multiple disabilities, such as Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, Other Health Impairments, and students with hearing and vision problems. Although my students have a disability or multiple disabilities, they are growing and learning everyday! Being able to work with students with special needs has been a huge blessing on my life, and I hope to continue to watch my students become inspirations for all people.

My Project

I am asking for a storage drawer to help my students become more organized and keep up with their papers. It will help them learn responsibility of keeping up with their work which is a wonderful life skill to possess.

I am also requesting some fun ways to engage my students in the learning process !

The buzzers will get them motivated to answer questions and the dry erase pops will help me assess what they know! The stools will offer some great flexible seating in addition to what we already have in the classroom.

I am excited to start this new journey in special education!
