My Students
A. Middle inspires to produce lifelong learners through rigorous academics and challenging sports and physical activity. Our students have hidden talents that are unable to be seen because many don't realize they possess it. As a PE teacher, my job is to teach the students about physical activity and sports. As a coach, it's my job to train, prepare, and guide young athletes to success. My school is in need of proper practice/training equipment for our athletes that participate in Volleyball. Having the proper equipment and even up to date equipment will allow the students to sincerely be engaged in the sport in many aspects and accomplish many goals. Please be a part of our success!
My Project
These resources will drastically improve my team's confidence, dedication, and overall performance during practice and games. They will gain confidence just by the new uniform shorts in general. At the moment, the team has shorts that are similar to basketball shorts. The girls don't like them and I feel this could affect their enthusiasm for the game. With proper practice equipment, the team will dedicate themselves to improvement because they can see success is possible during practice. Equipment such as the arm sleeves, good volleyballs, and equipment to improve hits and skill levels. Knee pads and arm sleeves can also be used for games as well as practice to ensure success. My athletes understand that we work with what we have, but I feel they deserve nice things. As an individual, I cannot afford it. As a school, this might not fit the budget. But that doesn't mean the volleyball team shouldn't have these materials. The team gives 100 percent every day and I would like to show them some kind of appreciation for their hard work.
