My Project

My students absolutely love being hands-on with everyday activities. For example, I've never seen a room of twenty-four children so quiet than when I showed them how to wash a dish. Simple practical tasks like this are captivating to the young child. My Assistant Teacher and I are passionate about Montessori Practical Life activities and want to expand them in our classroom.

With the materials in this project, my students will learn how to sew through a progression of activities.

They will also have a special table and chairs for the space!
