My students need tape laid down in our multi-purpose room, which is what we use as a gym. We also need storage for our foam noodles and a whistle.

My Students

There's an obesity epidemic...but my students do not have a gym! They have a 'multi-purpose' room that I try my hardest to make look like a gym. Additionally, we do not have a lot of storage space for equipment, so we need to be creative as to how we store our PE supplies!

My students are terrific kids.

However, they have all kinds of challenges including language and many are from low income families. The school that they attend is a Pre-K - Grade 5 school which boasts a warm and nurturing environment. The tone of the school is certainly calm, but these kids get excited when it is appropriate to do so!

My Project

The resources that I am requesting are those that will facilitate me in ensuring that my students have the best Physical Education experience I can deliver. The tape layer will assist me in making the multi-purpose room come alive as a gym and the foam noodle storage will give us a place to put that equipment. We also need a whistle for group activities.

I love my students and I love my job.

I have never 'counted down' the days to summer vacation while working in this school because I truly love coming to work. All I want is to keep improving in what I do and deliver Physical Education to my students the best way I know how!
