Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is full of bright minds, future engineers and brilliant thinkers! I am excited about the projects they will be doing! We have been doing many hands on projects and my class is REALLY looking forward to doing this one. It involves research and learning and then turning the classroom into the ocean. They have never done something like this before and we would love donations to help us accomplish this goal. Any consideration we get to help is appreciated!
My Project
Students will be using these materials for a classroom transformation to turn their classroom into the ocean. Other grade levels will be able to come and visit the classroom while students give their presentation on ocean information. Once students do their research on different plants and animals in the ocean and learn the related vocabulary, they will be able to actually build things and decorate to turn the entire classroom into the ocean. The goal is to break apart the classroom into different sections. Each student will be responsible for their section, for the decorating and the presenting. They are excited!
