Help me give my students new double reeds for playing bassoon and oboe.

While band programs are established with rich and storied traditions of consistent excellence in performing, there comes a time when a program must either go through a rebuilding or redirecting phase in order to keep the musical machine running efficiently and get students playing at a level that will allow them to achieve excellence in the performing arts. One critical part of the musical machine is the equipment that students use for woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Playing with good fundamental tone quality is essential to musical development. The better their equipment, the better they play and can make great strides in the band room as well as on stage as they'll be more motivated to practice and enhance their developing skills.
They are engaged, dedicated students who are deserving of making great music in the band room through hard work, discipline, and dedication.
They believe that music education is very much a core subject that shouldn't be taken lightly at all as they should strive for excellence in academic classes. For many, the band room becomes a second home and should be treated as such as they have an internal desire to be great in their studies.
The students will be utilizing woodwind accessories such as new double reeds for oboe and bassoon in order for them expand upon the solid musical fundamentals they're already developing in Beginning, Intermediate, and Concert Bands. The materials will help us when we present concerts for the school, the surrounding community, and at regional events outside of school. We would like to give students more options into playing double reed instruments as while they are not as popular as saxophone or drums, they still do serve as a vital part of the band program as we move ahead to expand the use of double reed instruments in the future to create wonderful sounds when playing together.
After the students perform in concerts, they share their experiences with younger students (elementary) in hopes of encouraging them to participate in their music program as well as older students (high school) through mentoring as they strive to one day become members of a high school band program, too!
For years, the students have been able to provide meaningful service with limited resources. This is their chance to establish new, greater standards in their musical outreach.
