My Students

My students deserve to have a classroom with the essential tools and resources to truly engage in the learning process. They deserve to have a classroom that is as established as a veteran teacher but with the enthusiasm of a beginning teacher, like me. These fun, loving, sponge-minded students are very eager to learn all they can.

These kiddos are excited and passionate about learning and being successful.

They believe in the growth mindset way of learning and give it there all when they are in my classroom.

My Project

These materials will help my students be able to travel to a different time and place through the aspect of reading. They deserve to have a class library where they can feel free to choose from many types of books. They also deserve to have the variety and abundance of books as a veteran teacher with a beginning teacher like me. I want to share the love and passion I have for these books with them. They will enjoy reading a series of chapter books such as “A Series of Unforunate Events” and the Judy Bloom series.

I want to show these children how to get lost in a book and "go to" a place where they have never been.

Everyone deserves this opportunity and I do not want for them to miss out. I believe learning to enjoy reading will shape these kiddos futures in a positive way and they will become successful learners.
