My Students

I teach 21 amazing and adorable kindergarten scholars. They enter my classroom with big smiles, happy, and ready to learn. Many students that come to our school do not speak English and have no preschool experience. We also have exceptional students included in our class.

We are a Global Magnet Title I School serving 65% low-income families who speak limited English.

We offer Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to our students. Our school also serves parents who work multiple jobs to help make ends meet.

My Project

Many students come to school hungry and need nutritious snacks during the day. To help nourish my students during their learning day, I would like to offer Nutri-Grain bars, fruit snack, and other nutritious snack in class. The animal crackers will be given during the end of the day for their afternoon snack. We will also use the snack bags and napkins to give out additional snacks when needed.

Help me keep my students learning on a nutritious and healthy note from the time they enter my classroom until the end of the day.
