My students are simply the best!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse educational needs. By fifth grade, all too many students have lost interest in learning and need different methods to be reached, which is why I feel it is imperative to have hands-on materials for my students to use to learn.

My Project

My students love to learn about the human body. In 5th grade, many students do not have a solid understanding of the importance of good nutrition and how to read nutrition labels. With the digital scale, students will be able to understand different weight/mass measurements related to nutrition and food. Also, the fraction centers will help students better understand fractional food measurements.

Today's instruction will create tomorrow's leaders!

Since I teach two different groups (with over 30 students in each group) each day, these materials will make a tremendous impact. Help make a difference in a child's life. Help us to be healthy, wealthy, and wise!
