My Project

Number the Stars by Lois Lowry is an incredible story that teaches students about the effect of the holocaust and World War 2. It explores themes of bravery and friendship. Reading this book will allow students to learn about a different time period, historical fiction, and a culture and religion that they are not familiar with. Lois Lowry is a fantastic author who’s written many life changing and inspiring books. Help give my students the opportunity to connect with a powerful story that explores powerful themes using a powerful friendship.
