This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are determined to succeed. They overcome tremendous obstacles just to show up for school each day. They come from a high poverty neighborhood in Pennsylvania. Our school is situated in a neighborhood plagued by violence.

Many of the children we serve come from single-parent homes or are living with grandparents or even in foster care, but they show up ready to learn and determined to succeed.

My job is to help them reach that goal. I would love your support.

My Project

Our Stage has no pizazz. It is very plain and dark during our many assemblies and performances, parents can barely see their children singing or giving speeches. So we are requesting help in getting 4 U`KING Moving Head Stage Light this will give anything taking place on our stage lights. Graduation is quickly approaching and it would be great to see the students as they sing, perform and receive awards. Our class will be performing all summer and many times at the end of this year and countless times next year and the proper lighting will make a huge improvement in our performances.
