My students need an iPad tablet.

Do you remember the first book you fell in love with? Many of my students don't love reading because it is difficult. Students need a variety of books spanning a wide range of levels and genres that an iPad tablet could provide.
I teach a group of third grade students that are bright, energetic and eager to learn.
I am at a TITLE I school, where we have at least 65% of our students on free or reduced price lunch. Many of my students come from homes where parents are involved in their child's education, but may not know how to help them succeed.
Students in third grade usually have all the skills they need to read. They just need lots of practice to become fluent. Many of my students don't have books at home and depend on the school for reading material. I am asking for an iPad tablet for my classroom. A tablet will supply our classroom with an endless amount of literature to enhance student learning. Reading is essential to student success. Students succeed when they have a love for and an interest in an activity. Having a tablet in the classroom will provide my students with a rich literature environment, as well as experience with the latest technology. Providing a tablet will stimulate an interest in reading as well as open a whole new world of experiences that only a book can provide.
An iPad tablet will positively impact my classroom by providing additional literature in all subjects areas.
Fluency and comprehension will soar when students are excited about reading. Students must be well grounded in reading to succeed in all other areas.
