This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 28 students that greet me each day. I am truly blessed with an amazing group of children. I teach within a public city school district where students come from low economic homes and have very limited resources.

My students are diverse and very unique.

The class consists of Special, General, and English Language Learners. Our classroom engages in a multi sensory approach to learning. We start the day with whole group instruction and transition into differented instruction. This is a time where I instruct guided reading while the other students are completing individual tasks.

My Project

I have utilized a projector in my past lessons and it sure does make a difference. Right now I do not have a working projector. There is no funding either. This is why I am writing for a great resource to help support and enhance the learning environment in my classroom.

Children are visual learners .

This projector will help students read better and solve math problems. They will increase their motivation and move quicker through lessons as well as review. They will see a broad spectrum of animals during science instruction as well as the pioneers in social studies.
