My school is a top-ranked school in my state, but that does not mean that all my students are at the top of their game in academics. The students that I teach are as diverse in their learning capabilities as the diversity in the different counties in my state. The honors students I have are ready for anything I put before them and are eager to set the world on fire. What my special needs students lack in academic ability, they make up for with their effort.
These students are from military families, broken families, supportive families, and families still recovering from hurricane Florence.
What they share is that they cope with their own circumstances with strength and character. I am proud of each of my students and want to help them be the best that they can be!
My Project
My yearbook students strive each year to produce the best product they possibly can. Despite many setbacks last year, their commitment, creativity, and fortitude earned our book a national award. The staff's impeccable work ethic pushed them to work during lunch, after school, and into the night many times.
With a mini fridge in our yearbook office, my super committed students can store healthy snacks, including juices and fruits to sustain them through fruition of this year's book.
I am committed to them as much as they are to this project. Your help will help them stay healthy through the long hours that it takes to create the time-honored tradition of a high school yearbook.
