Help me give my students a quality online learning experience. They will be learning trigonometry. The Wacom, Audio Stereo Headset with Mic, and the Stand White Board - 40x28 Magnetic Dry Erase Board to increase the students success.
I work with a great diverse student population. They are hard-working but have some challenges. This school year has been challenging and now we are transitioning to learning math online. Not to mention social distancing. My students are resilient and we can get through this together. I want them to be successful in this new endeavor.
This will be a great learning experience for my students.
The school has loaned hundreds of laptops for the students to use because of their financial need. I work in a low-income school and they are amazing young people.
My Project
Moving to an online-only tool to teach math will allow me to grow as a teacher. This new adventure lends well to the new class I am working on for next year. The student's will learn about logarithms and Trigonometric functions. They will be able to watch the video I make and apply what I am teaching. They will be able to solve logarithmic functions and Trigonometric functions. They will be able to graph both types of functions as well.
There will be a steep learning curve with understanding and making the technology work for me and my students this year but it will allow the class next year's class to run smoothly.
Not only will I benefit but my students will.
I will try to make the transition to the online format as easy as possible for my students. I want the math to be the focus and not the technology.
