This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Keeping my students safe is the most important thing to me. My primary job is to teach, but the safety of my students is more paramount than ever before. Within my classroom, I incorporate many strategies such as group work, workstations on the floor, and flexible seating to enhance the learning experience and to meet each of their needs. We are constantly washing/sanitizing hands and wiping down our work space to ensure a safer classroom environment for group discussions and activities that my students have missed while learning virtually from home. We have gone through so many containers of wipes and are in need of more. Students are able to work in multiple areas of the classroom which are consistently needing to be cleaned whether with a mop or a sweeper. Please help me keep my students safe. Thank you in advance.
