Once getting past the drive out to the country where our school is located, one readily can see the vibrant nature of our students. The atmosphere here is a happy one and is something we all -- from administrators to students -- appreciate and protect.
My Project
Large, colorful drums are affectionately eyeballed by each student that enters my music classroom! With only six tubano drums currently available for my students, students either have to share... or wait until next time to play one. Obtaining these beautiful Remo Kids Tubano Drums would be a huge addition to our classroom and would give my students more opportunities to partipate altogether.
Tubano drums are easily played by even my youngest students.
They can obtain a good, musical sound quite quickly. Drumming is an excellent way to teach the ever-important steady beat and to learn about rhythm. Drumming together refines listening skills, develops motor skills, and increases self-awareness.
