My Students

My students come from poverty-stricken homes. Over 80% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. They do not have the privileges of students who live in higher socioeconomic areas. Therefore, we do not often have the latest and greatest supplies, technology, or tools other schools may have.

My students strive to do well.

They are very caring and determined to be successful. Every student deserves the opportunity to learn in a positive environment and have the supplies they need.

My Project

Organizational skills is often one component that teenagers need the most help with. By having a composition notebook for each one of my students, this will help not only their organizational skills but their learning too.

Utilizing composition notebooks for English class will help my students to be able to keep all of their notes in one spot.

They will not be able to tear out the pages, and this will help them to keep their notebooks neat and in order. No more chasing loose paper!

Having these notebooks will be greatly beneficial for my students in their learning throughout the year!
