My Students

I have been teaching for 14 years. I have taught 8th grade math for 7 years. My students are the reason I go to work every day.

The students excel when given opportunities to use hands on materials and technology.

We have a diverse group of students at the school and they can all benefit to experience what being at school can offer. The expression on a students face when they finally understand the concept they have struggled with is amazing.

My Project

The supplies will help give the students practice with using some different technology. Also the Post-Its and tabs will help students be better able to organize notes as well as refer to them when necessary.

Sometimes old school resources have a big impact.

Learning how to take notes as well as use them effectively is a great tool for students to have. And, Expos are always helpful to show answers in a more fun way. The students will also get practice in making a note card. Again this is a different way for them to get the practice they need to understand the concepts.
