Help me give my students a standing desk area that will allow them space to collaborate and still be part of our class environment, while they find their just right learning spot.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a small middle school right on the border between Orange and Los Angeles counties. I teach Social Studies to all the 6th graders in our school and my goal is to make a classroom that helps them transition from elementary school to middle school. My students are excited to be in class and excited to learn. However, they are fidgety and oftentimes have issues concentrating in traditional desks and chairs. Additionally, we are a 1:1 iPad class and use our devices almost every day. It is my experience that many of my students excel in leaning and in working together on these devices when they are comfortable and able to find their just-right learning spot.
My Project
Are you a stander or a sitter when you work? Personally I love to stand and lean and so do my kids. However, the tables and chairs in my class don't work for that purpose, and man, do my sixth graders wiggle in their seats. I have realized this year that I am spending a significant amount of time correcting my students who are leaning back in chairs or sitting sideways on them. If I was able to let my kiddos find their just-right seats (or standing space) a lot of their loss of focus and my annoyance could be eliminated.
My goal with this project is to have a classroom that allows kids to find the workspace that is right for them instead of me dictating what should work for them.
It is my ultimate goal to provide a classroom environment where every kid feels they fit in and has a space for them. In my classroom, I have worked to provide different types of sitting spots or flexible seating options. However, giving my students a standing place has been a challenge as high-quality standing desks are very costly. In looking at many more inexpensive options, I have found that they lack the stability and function needed to have the students working there be actively involved in my class instructions.
My goal as a teacher is to make my instruction accessible to all students, and I want to create an environment that does the same thing. I want to create a space where kids can stand and get their wiggles out without feeling the need to go to the bathroom just to get a break, causing them to miss instructional time.
