The children in my classroom are learners, friends, thinkers, mathematicians, readers, authors, explorers, and doers! They are 7-8 year olds who tackle life with such passion and fearless curiosity. I need your help in nurturing this life of learning where students can follow their curiosity through amazing books, hands on experiences, listening to a song, or creating art.
My students can make a difference in the world around them if they are supported with knowledge, kindness, and the tools for learning.
My students can make the classroom a safer, kinder, welcoming place to live and learn..... and in turn make the world a safer, kinder, and welcoming place to live.
Reading is the heartbeat of our classroom. Books make my students' jump with excitement. Earlier this year, with the help of donors, much of the classroom library got a facelift with new bookshelves and bins to display and organize our books. The students went absolutely WILD as each new shelf and books in bins were revealed.
Now I want to continue to grow curious and avid readers with your help.
The class needs additional bookshelves and bins to present our new picture books & series books, as well as replacing the last of the old bookshelves.
The more shelves the classroom has, the more books that can be displayed, shouting to the kids "READ ME!" New shelves and bins will allow us to display our books and provide space to grow the library. The more space we have for books, the more likely it will be that students will find that Just Right Book that will keep them wanting to read more and more. Will you help provide a nook for all of our books by contributing to our new shelves and bins?
