My Project

My students love to read fiction. They especially love graphic novels. It is part of my journey with them to expose them to nonfiction and teach them to read it. Right now, we have very few options for nonfiction reading in my classroom.

Students love reading when they have choice between a wide variety of options.

I need my students to love to read nonfiction the way they love fiction. These books that I am requesting cover a variety of topics including biography, science, and history. Please help me bring these important materials into my classroom to enrich the reading lives of my students.
