My Students

Teaching kindergarten is no walk in the park, but I cannot help but love every second of it! As a third-year teacher, this year has been amazing - thanks to my wonderful class. They are full of spunk, compassion, and leadership. It has been amazing to see them grow throughout the year. Throughout the school year, my class has prospered into a group of kids that have shown their strengths and talents, not only in academics but friendship and compassion as well.

My Project

Throughout Kindergarten, we focus a lot of our attention on nonfiction texts throughout our social studies and science units.

These kits will help provide books in hand to my students, rather than viewing on the computer or watching a video.

These books will allow them to take a deeper look at the units we are learning about by exploring the pictures and texts inside these books. These books would be a great addition to my kindergarten library, allowing students to learn more about these topics and further explore our American symbols and animals units.
