This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Some of my students have not yet discovered Nonfiction books that capture history. This could be the year that history learning happens and they fall in love with books.

My students are a group of motivated students who enjoy the process of learning.

My students are excited to come to school and learn new things everyday. Our school has a nice environment. Students feel safe coming to school everyday. They look forward to learning new things that help them achieve their goals and high expectations set by their teacher and parents.

My Project

My students will be able to use Nonfiction Readers books to learn more about historical events that have occurred in our history. My students will be able to utilize the books in completing reading, history, and reading comprehension assignments. My students will also be learning many Common Core Standards through the usage of the Nonfiction Readers.

Donating to my project will change and improve my students academically in the classroom.

It will provide an opportunity of learning various opportunities through the excitement of learning historical events and the reading process.
