Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are young, happy and eager to learn children from low income families, and homeless, in most cases. In addition, to their already adverse situation, now they are facing with the school being closed. This is a real new challenge for them and their families.
Many of my students don't have access to simple learning resources such as writing materials, storybooks, worksheet books or simple snacks.
They would benefit tremendously from different type of learning materials, that would support their parents in order to help them to continue practicing at home.
School will be closed for the rest of the year, but we hope that with your help, and other good citizens support we can make my students life easier.
My Project
