My Project

Fifth grade students at my school are typically required to read the South Carolina Association of School Librarians junior book award nominees over the summer. It is so much fun to preview them with the students so that they can better select a book they want to read.

Finding a book that interests you over the summer can be a challenge.

But not when the book is previewed. I will read all of these books, then pass them on to our fifth grade classrooms to add to their libraries. There is a variety of titles, so students are sure to find one that interests them.
