This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are creative, inquisitive, and eager to learn. At our school 100% of my students qualify for free lunch and deserve the opportunity to learn in a safe COVID free environment. All donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My Project

As amazing teachers gear up to work in person to meet the needs of our students, it is necessary that we are abiding by CDC guidelines for the health of the students. Therefore, we would like to use desk shields inside our classrooms. Desk shields will be distributed to each individual student to assist in preventing the spread of Covid-19 and other germs.

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, teachers must ensure social distancing by limiting group sizes, keeping students six feet apart and closing communal spaces.

With teachers and students working together in close quarters, children socializing throughout the day, and the buildings serving as a community gathering space, it is imperative that teachers keep staff and students safe.
