Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

These students range from 9th-12th grade. There is a wide range of learning levels and some are special education students. All students come from low-income households.

The students have has a difficult year and need a lot of encouragement and need to return to a sense of normal routines.

My Project

This Glowforge air filter will help keep the air clean and clear of smoke from our laser printer. We love using the laser printer, but it does smell. With the addition of this air filter, we could safely use the printer more often. We often have visitors thinking something inside our classroom is burning and this filter could help end the worries.

Please help us make no smoke in the air from us!

We want to be creative and use our laser printer as often as possible but the smell and smoke are causing problems.
