Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students need some new fleece fabric to use to make a no sew blanket as a reward for good behavior at school. At the end of each week a student will get to tie knots on their blanket for having good behavior during the school day. When the student has finished their no sew blanket the student gets to take the blanket home with them. The students look forward to taking home a blanket that they made, show it to their family and they love using their in their home!

My Project

The fleece fabric will be used to make no sew blankets with the students. The students will be able to tie knots in their blanket weekly. The students get to tie knots in their blanket for having good behavior. When the students have finished tying the knots in their blankets the student gets to take the blanket home. The students get to show their parents what they have made and they get to have a nice new blanket to keep them warm at home. The students enjoy picking out the fabric and making the blankets. The students will be excited to get some new fabric with fun designs.
