Help me give my students the refrigerator to keep their pretend food cold in the Dramatic Play area.
This project expired on April 4, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My classroom consists of 15 three, four and five year old students. Many of my students are experiencing school for the first time. The look of amazement when they enter the classroom is one that fills my heart with overwhelming joy.
My students come from an area that is considered the most dangerous city in America so when they enter my classroom I like to know that I provide them with a loving safe environment where they can enjoy being a kid.
I am asking for the refrigerator in order for the students to be able to keep the pretend food cold. The dramatic play area is an essential part of the preschool classroom and it's one of my most popular areas. Dramatic play helps children explore different roles and situations as children play with items and tools adults use in everyday life.
Role play is an important part of child development, as it builds confidence, creativity communication, physical development and problem solving.
Along with being a fun activity, it also allows children to get into character and act out real life roles or fictional performances.
