What makes my students special is that they are all hardworking, reliable, and dedicated. They are very passionate about dancing. During their free time, you can find them in my dance room practicing their group and individual performances. They take pride in their accomplishments.
What makes me really love my job is when I see my students' eagerness to learn and desire to develop their skills in dancing.
It has been a great joy watching them grow as performers. The challenging and tiring day-to-day practices pay off in every one of their successful performances.
My Project
As a dance coach, I encourage my students to engage in a variety of daily exercises, in order to help them avoid injuries. Exercises will also help them increase flexibility, develop balance, and stamina in dancing.
"If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” and “no pain, no gain” could both be applied to help one succeed in dancing.
I encourage my students not to give up, and to stay motivated”.
Dance students often complain of muscle pain, after they've been working hard. This is the time that, the massage gun and heating pad can benefit my students by, decreasing the amount of pain they feel.
Sometimes, I also encourage my students to go on long hikes, to help them improve their cardiovascular fitness. A few of my students complained of developing blisters, following a long hike. A pair of well-made, comfortable hiking boots will help them avoid pain during hiking.
Additional exercise equipment along with proper clothing, will greatly help my team’s performance. More importantly, I set them up to succeed in their endeavors and to attain a healthy lifestyle. This is the most exciting time for the dance program. Learning to train hard will ultimately help improve our sport, and fuel our passion!
