My Students
My students come from poverty-stricken homes. Over 80% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. They do not have the privileges of students who live in higher socioeconomic areas. Therefore, they do not have the necessary supplies to do well in school.
My Video Production class functions without a budget.
We are striving to create professional quality videos to showcase to our school and community. To do so, we're asking for your support. We want to be able to fully use our imagination and originality without being limited because we don't have the proper resources.
My Project
My video production students strive to produce quality work, but become greatly frustrated because they don't always have access to the equipment they need. Please help me to be able to equip all of our video cameras with Rode microphones.
My students struggle to create films that have quality sound without having external microphones.
Often, the voices of the people they are recording are inaudible; thus, the integrity and purpose of the video is lost. It is very disheartening to my students when they invest hours into their project only not able to hear what was recorded.
Having an equal ratio of Rode microphones to cameras will end our current struggle and greatly improve our videos.
