I know everyone says that THEIR students are the most talented and creative, but that's because they haven't met my students yet. The choir and A Cappella program is a diverse group of students that perform all over the community. Although about 70% of our student population is low SES and many students have limited resources, especially when it comes to technology, their drive for experience and knowledge is unmatched.
My students are poets and singers, dreamers and rappers, doodlers and beatboxers, actors and leaders.
They utilize every opportunity to grow as performers, and in the process, learn the necessary skills to grow into mature, young adults.
My Project
For the past two years, my choir students have been using cheap black three-ring binders to hold their sheet music in. At the end of every class, there would inevitably be music strewn all over the floor because music was constantly falling out of the binders.
Enter these new, professional choral folders, specifically designed to store choral sheet music!
Not only will these folders help my students stay more organized, but they will also help my students look and feel more professional. These folders will easily fit into the music folder cabinet as well as their backpacks. They are designed to be held for long stretches of time during rehearsals and concerts. There is even a spot for a pencil inside the folder!
