I am very fortunate to teach the students of this community. They are motivated, inquisitive, and really enjoy collaborating when given a project. Over the past year, parents have generously donated towards my vision of introducing STEM-based chemistry and biology labs involving amazing technology that is used to gather data.
The community in which I teach is very supportive of science education and hands-on learning.
Having the tools and resources available for their children to conduct meaningful labs provides them a quality science experience which the parents appreciate.
My Project
My students love to get out of their seats to explore, investigate, and collaborate but they are not a fan of sharing eye goggles with other students. Luckily, I found a goggle cabinet that stores and sanitizes in 15 minutes using ultraviolet rays. This cabinet quickly and efficiently sanitize the goggles with this easy-to-operate sanitizer. It holds up to 35 goggles onto a wire shelving which allows the UV light to pass through to the goggles, sanitizing them very efficiently.
My class is known for having a lot of meaningful labs, although I know that students would appreciate the experience more if they did not have to worry about wearing slightly dirty goggles.
Everyone would be happier known their goggles were germ free.
