My Students

Do you remember when your teacher would stand up at the board and write and talk. The days of chalk and talk over. My students need a bright dry erase board with different color markers to catch their attention.

My students are fun and exciting to be around.

They are eager to learn and thoroughly enjoy being in their classroom. This is the third year our school has been open and unfortunately much of our budget was cut this year. We are from an inner-city school which lacks many resources and materials. Although we are missing out on supplies the teachers continue to be enthusiastic about the caring, teaching, and learning going on in our school.

My Project

WIth the rolls of dry erase paper my students will be able to have a dry erase board to assist them visually with learning. Currently there is a bright blue chalk board. A previous teacher had put stickers on the board and peeled them off. This left the board with a residue which has left it unusable. With a new dry erase board and markers my students will have the opportunity of a bright new board which they can write on as well.

It will make it easier to learn. The students will be able to see more clearly and I can write and draw diagrams. This will help their daily learning and in turn make them more successful learners.
