My Students

My students attend a Title 1 elementary school. This means that they receive free meals due to their socioeconomic status. These children are eager to learn and need “TLC”. Unfortunately, since our city school is a public school, there is very little funding for curriculum materials and classroom supplies: and especially now with current pandemic budget cuts.

My Project

Hi! Thank you for stopping by to read about our need for technology in my universal 3k class. I have 15 adorable learners just beginning to experience school for the first time. As we may remember, at the ages of two and three our attention span is not very long so it can be challenging to try to teach the babies for an extended period of time. At this age, they learn through play. They also can learn very quickly using hands-on resources like tablets. Children need this knowledge of technology to be competitive in the future. Thank you so much!
