This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Do not be fooled by the stereotypes given to a Title I school. While all students receive a free and reduced lunch, they still come in with enthusiasm and excitement to learn new skills to become life-long learners.
My third grade students, both general and special education, will be actively involved in experiments, explorations and observations on a journey to become scientist of the world around them.
It is my personal belief that each student has something unique to offer in every aspect of learning; since, the students guide the instruction in my classroom.
I believe that technology is a great way to get students involved and interested in their learning experiences! I want my students to be exposed to as much virtual learning as possible inside of my classroom, without disturbing other students!
My Project
My students use Chromebooks to further explore every content area in 3rd grade. When you have 25+ students in a class, it gets CRAZY when every student is trying to listen to something on their Chromebook. We work on ZEARN, educational video instruction, virtual field trips, and so much more.
Ear phones would eliminate distractions for all students as they further explore using technology.
Each student could more successfully focus on the learning in front of them, instead of what every other student is learning. The less distractions going on in a large classroom, the better. I want them to have the best possible learning experience they can have in my room!
