My Project

A big part of working at a Title I school is understanding some of the needs aren't academic, but physically. Are you ready to listen if you are hungry? Could you sit through 4 hours of class with an empty belly? This project is written in hopes to provide snacks for my children, or any child who is hungry and needs something to eat. Luckily, we have free lunch for all students but students sometimes do not eat their plate because of medicine or pickiness.

Students should be worried about learning, not worried about being hungry.

All of the snacks asked for in this project will provide snacks for hungry students. There will be no question about why they are hungry, but students will know they can come to me and ask for a snack if needed. Thank you for thinking of my students and helping to provide snacks for them!
