I teach science and science intervention, incorporating hands-on, project-based learning in my classroom. I also incorporate technology, helping students develop 21st-century presentation skills. My classes incorporate STEM and STEAM skills for engineering.
My students are a diverse group of enthusiastic learners who enjoy applying creativity and hands-on models to their learning.
They have a wide range of creativity and come from diverse background experiences.
I incorporate technology into all subjects of my classroom and my goal is to promote as much creative, innovative learning as possible. Many struggle with the rigorous challenges of complex learning concepts. I need additional materials to create an even greater impact on classroom learning and interventions. I want to encourage student engagement and achievement.
My students are learning technology, but I want them to learn about the engineering as well. They are studying life science, but I will have them further research sustainable forms of energy, recycling, and human impact.
My Project
Help give our learners science board games to teach them important concepts in fun, engaging ways. Students will learn important vocabulary and concepts, all while playing games! These games will provide them with learning and collaboration strategies, all while learning in a fun way.
These scientific board games will enhance their understanding, research, and make learning more engaging and fun.
The science games will create visual examples of important learning concepts and will provide additional information beyond instruction. Additionally, students will apply their understanding to work together and play together, applying STEM skills to their classroom environment. Having structured peer interactions improves their life skills and these games will help provide hands-on learning in the science classroom.
