The two things that my students get excited about are reading and science. They love reading books together as a class. They especially love funny stories and weird facts about nature. They absolutely love hands-on experiments in science.
My students come from all different ethnic backgrounds and cultures, but all of them are excited to learn new, interesting things.
They love learning learning about how things work and the world around them. They all love helping our school community.
My Project
Students in fourth grade learn about animal adaptations. These materials will help students investigate how animals survive by exploring beaks, claws, and skulls.
These materials will help students hypothesize the functions of different animal parts.
This will help students be able to better understand animal adaptions and apply their knowledge to the world around them.
Imagine the students' excitement in being able to touch, feel, and experience different animal claws, skulls, and beaks. Learning about these things will help student truly understand how animals are connected to their environment. With the knowledge they will gain, they will be able to create their own animal with adaptations to survive in a specific environment.
