My Students

I am currently a first year teacher at EPES. I have spent the last 4 years teaching inside of other organizations and am ecstatic to be given the opportunity to advocate for the students of EPES. This is a very well-rounded school that believes in equality in education for all children. The staff works very diligently to assure every student's needs are being met with the highest of quality.

I strive to be a teacher for EPES students who is able to commit the same caliber of professionalism as the staff that I am working with for the students we are working for.

My Project

This project is purely for the students. I was lucky enough to receive 2 boxes of Nintendo LABOs and love that students are able to build, construct, and learn through these kits. I will be bringing my Nintendo Switch in for students to use but think it would be extra special if we had a Nintendo for the class so that students could build their own creations at their own pace. Having a Switch that stayed continuously in my classroom for students to use will give them more opportunity to explore coding and engineering. This is a very unique opportunity for students and allows students to use their imagination with everything that is able to be built through the LABO.
