My students need 187 composition books in order to deal with the rigorous curriculum that awaits them. The composition books will be helpful in keeping my students organized.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class should be an exciting fun filled hour that engages students to push themselves towards learning and investigating new math concepts. However, my class is constantly interrupted by students not having supplies or who can't find their supplies. These notebooks will solve this problem.
Our school is an A+ rated school by the state of Arizona and is located in the middle of a low income area.
Our students are kids trying to figure out who they are and who they want to be in life. Our school offers them several outlets besides the basic education and allows them to express themselves in any positive way possible. Our students are typically underachieving in math, and it takes a lot of effort to bring them back to grade level proficiency.
My Project
The students will be using a composition book for notes in a process called interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks is a unique process that allows students to create foldables, graphic organizers, and other items, and tape them into their composition books. The composition books will have a table of contents, and will help the students stay organized, while giving them a beneficial tool to help them on homework and to study for tests.
My project will make a difference, because these composition books will allow me to use my notetaking style to help students stay organized, learn math, and create a study tool for them to use at home whenever they need it.
