Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are wonderful kids with a great attitude towards learning! Coming from a large agricultural community, many of the families we serve are of low socioeconomic background. Parents send their children to school each day with the hopes of improving their lives through education and we do our best to make that happen.
It is my sincere hope that this project will be funded in order to enrich the lives of the children we serve in this school and in turn in the community.
My Project
We, as educators, are creating the next generation thinkers by promoting learning through access and hands on experimentation.
The classroom should be a place where learning is an experience.
And, students should have mobility both in and out of the classroom while learning.
It is my hope that these materials will engage students in the learning process and enrich their knowledge base by incorporating technology and allowing them the opportunity to predict, research, and record. My goal is to promote forward thinking learners who seek out careers in which they have a passion for, and by which they will positively impact their communities.
